What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative / Estimator position at Turner Home Improvement Contractors, LLC?
As a full-time Outside Sales Representative (Estimator), your primary responsibility will be to meet and develop relationships with pre-qualified homeowners within Connecticut. This is a base pay with uncapped commission position, where your earnings will be based on your experience and success rate. Although this position will be for our Clinton, CT office, training will take place at our Glastonbury, CT office located at 182 Oakwood Drive, Glastonbury, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand our primary product lines.
- Stay true to your training and deliver interactive sales information to homeowners.
- Participate in ongoing sales meetings and training sessions weekly.
- Meet with homeowners at their homes to discuss our products and services.
- Check-in with the office and Sales Manager.
- Write estimates and close sales.
- Attend lead generating events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong follow-up skills and organizational abilities with a desire to be successful.
- Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience required.
- No prior experience in home improvements needed; we will provide comprehensive training.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ideal candidate lives in and is familiar with Connecticut.

- Base Commission structure; expected first-year compensation: $100,000.
