Your day-to-day as a Marble Care Project Porter will entail:
- Attaining work assignments and supplies promptly; reports to the assigned area.
- Thoroughly cleaning marble surfaces in the designated area.
- Assisting in moving furniture and equipment for special events while using proper safety techniques.
- Properly using cleaning equipment (e.g., buffer, extractor, scrubber, vacuum) and operating aerial lifts safely.
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment after use and reporting any damage to the Supervisor
To be successful as a Marble Care Project Porter, you'll need:
- The ability to successfully complete MSDS and OSHA training.
- Knowledge of hard floor care and marble care.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- To be self-motivated and attentive to detail.
- To be able to work independently.
- To be able to periodically work at heights.
- A valid NYS Driver’s license to transport supplies/equipment and clean offsite.
- To be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
