Bridge/Concrete General Superintendent

Twin K Construction is in search for a General Bridge/Concrete Superintendent. Only qualified candidates reply to this post please. Pay will be discussed in the interview.

• Qualified candidates will have an in depth understanding of the construction industry, contract documents, and plans
• Read, understand, interpret and enforce safety policies and practices
• Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure
• Lays out floor-plan/worksite as needed
• Determines sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly, and erection of structure
• Assigns workers to such tasks as cutting material to size, building concrete forms, erecting wooden framework, and laying flooring
• Inspects work performed by subordinates to ensure quality
• Supervises workers engaged in building timber structures such as cofferdams, trestles, and supports for concrete forms
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to increase efficiency of work crew
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, assists workers in solving work problems, and initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials
• Maintain a general knowledge of equipment used on the job including basic understanding of equipment limits and designed purposes
