Warehouse Shipping Lead

Our warehouse team is a critical part of our operations, and each associate is a key part of that success. The shipping lead position is responsible for the podium and dock / bay processes. The ideal candidate must be able to keep up with the fast-paced demands of a warehouse, proactive, energetic, dependable, resourceful, detail oriented and have a great work ethic.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all work completed at the podium is processed completely, efficiently, and expeditiously.
- Answer any questions pertaining to order pulling and deliveries.
- Push and ensure the process of on-time truck launch.
- Ensure driver paperwork is prepared properly for each route.
- Collect and ensure driver paperwork is complete and correct.
- Answer podium phone calls in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all work completed at the dock / bay is area is processed completely, efficiently, and expeditiously.
- Working directly with the builder and auditor leads.
- Ensure all operations proceed on time.
- Ensure all orders prepared are stamped, checked, and loaded properly for each route.
- Enforce loss prevention processes.
- Create and print the driver's manifest.
- Oversee the pick ticket, invoicing and manifest system.
- Ensure that all truck keys are accounted for at the beginning and end of the day.
- Distribute tax stamps and stamp guns as required.
- Oversee tax stamp application and tracking process.
- Ensure all invoices and payments are present and accounted for when drivers return from their route.
- Provide training to builders, auditors, and drivers.
- Fill in for all other positions (Builder, Auditor, and CSR) when necessary.
- Responsible for closing the facility.
- All other duties as assigned.

Expected Hours of Work
A typical work week includes Monday-Saturday (business is closed every Sunday).
The requirements for hours of work are stated below :
Travel
Minimal to no travel within multiple Texas locations in all major cities / regions.
Preferred Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
