Job Summary
To provide the highest quality healthcare services available to the public while always assuring the Twin Rivers Urgent Care, LLC mission, vision and values are met. All duties and responsibilities of the medical provider position are to be performed in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations governing the legal scope of medical practice.

Qualifications:
Unrestricted licensure with the state of Nebraska, unrestricted DEA license,
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care or family practice setting
Knowledge of computerized information systems for business practice and electronic medical records (EMR)
Knowledge of relevant drugs and their appropriate use for treatment purposes
Knowledge of non-medical care aids relevant to patient care
Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Compliance with all applicable accreditations, certifications, HIPAA, OSHA and all other state and federal laws governing the healthcare industry
Specific Duties Included but not limited to:
· Provide exceptional customer service to patients, coworkers, vendors in accordance with the mission of Twin Rivers Urgent Care, LLC
· Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatments
· Provide services through telemedicine platform in conjunction with in-person visits
· Perform procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection and wound care
· Documenting and charting patient information in line with current policies and procedures
· Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, assist in continuity of care
· Communicate with patients regarding care, follow up, education
· Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as necessary
· Refers patients to appropriate specialists as needed
· Follow established policies and procedures and recommended referral practices
· Participate in staff meetings and other clinical operational procedures as needed
· Order diagnostic tests, x-rays, lab tests and interpret to identify abnormalities
· Orientation/training of practitioners as necessary
Working Conditions:
Requires work in a clinical setting with exposure to noise and potential exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens.
Requires the ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements and ability to lift 50 lbs.
