We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dock Worker to join our logistics team. Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks using a sit-down forklift (experience required)
- basic computer skills
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in organizing the dock area for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dock area.
Experience
- Previous forklift experience required
- Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and shipping/receiving operations is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, is essential for this role.
