Counter Intelligence agent

(Requires Enlistment in US Army)

Overview

As a Counterintelligence Special Agent, you’ll conduct investigations, collect and process forensic and physical evidence to identify and detect foreign intelligence and international terrorist threats, and plan the appropriate countermeasures to neutralize them.

Job Duties

Prepare all-source intelligence products to plan countermeasures

Assess the significance and reliability of incoming information with current intelligence

Identify foreign intelligence and international terrorist threats

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • US Army is a drug-free organization; employees are subject to random drug tests.
  • Willing to submit to a background review.
  • Available to work in geographic area indicated.
  • Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Able to pass a physical screening
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Able to visually distinguish colors - red, blue, green, yellow; hear, and with training, distinguish auditory signals.

Training

Company paid on the job training for a counter intelligence requires 28 weeks of training with on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and in the field.

Compensation

Total compensation includes monthly housing stipend, monthly food allowance, medical coverage, paid holidays, 30 days of paid vacation a year, and paid movement costs for any relocation.

Housing: A stipend allowance based on your location

Subsistence: Monthly food allowance

Medical: Full coverage for whole family at no cost to member

Vacation: 30 days paid

Relocation: Paid relocation costs

Holidays: Paid holidays
