Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support State License 1 Verification Job Details Hospice RN’s are needed for per diem at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital. Shifts will be sporadic and can come in consecutive days then consecutive days of no needs. Job Requirements 1 years of Hospice or Home Care experience Must have current Illinois License 1 supervisor reference required within the last 2 years. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts with some 8s Day 7a – 7 : 30p 7-330p / 3p - 1130p / 11p - 730a Unit Specific Information Candidates will complete a 12 hour unit orientation on Monday or Tuesday(based on availability). 8 hours will be unit with 4 hours completing required modules. All candidates will complete 2 virtual EPIC modules prior to orientation, taking no longer than 1 hour. Additional Details Epic Navy Blue Scrubs Will accept medical or religious declination in lieu of Flu and Covid-19 Vaccinations. 6 Month Separation period required for any former UChicago Employees Application will be reviewed by facility. Please ensure updated and neat Expect 48 hour turnaround time. 9 bed unit. Typically staffs 1 nurse and 1 aide for up to 5 beds. Per Diem coverage requested when 6 or beds occupied.
