Job Duties:

Provide clinical laboratory services in a primary careclinic setting. Maintain high standards of care. Collect, process, and routelab samples for processing. Conduct routine screening tests. Run daily qualitycontrol tests. Arrange for transportation of samples as needed. Directlysupervise hospital assistant staff and collaborate with other supervisors tohave uniformity in process at other sites.

Job Qualifications:

Working knowledge of primary care laboratory operations - Required.
Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures - Required.
Skill in troubleshooting equipment and performing minorrepair - Required.
Ability to work in standing position for long periods oftime - Required.
Ability to stretch, bend, reach and move in a repetitivefashion - Required.
Knowledge of universal precautions - Required.
Ability to apply basic laboratory safety practices whenhandling specimens - Required.
Skill in organizing patient specimens for testing - Required.
Working knowledge of PC with clinical applications - Required.
Ability to prioritize effectively in order to ensure asmooth work and patient flow - Required.
Ability to use independent judgement and follow through onassignments.
Ability to pay close attention to detail despite constantinterruptions - Required.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interacteffectively with the public - Required.
