Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications
- One year experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology or network operations, or a related field. (Required)
- Prior experience in information technology, IT hosting facilities, or data center services. Fundamental understanding of IT operations and hosting facilities. (Required)
- Experience collecting requirements and meeting deadlines for delivering colocation spaces and associated infrastructure. (Required)
- Experience and understanding of UPS systems, HVAC systems, and other physical infrastructure associated with temperature control and power systems. (Required)
- Experience working in a project-based environment using project management practices. (Required)
- Three or more years experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology or network operations. (Preferred)
- Experience in complex higher education environments, serving academic and administrative functions of a large public university. (Preferred)
- Broad knowledge of safety policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to data center operations. (Required)
- Ability to assess the criticality of problems and prioritize based on importance and urgency. Ability to assist with emergency response. (Required)
- Strong customer service skills. Ability to triage and escalate to supervisors and/or other teams for resolution. (Required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate ideas clearly. (Required)
- Able to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and stakeholders. (Required)
