Mulesoft Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mulesoft Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration team at UFCU. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise integration solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability for our integration platform. You will work closely with IT and business partners to manage data onboarding and integration requirements, troubleshoot and tune the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform, and provide technical support and guidance. If you have a strong background in Mulesoft, ETL processes, data governance, and collaboration, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform components.
• Monitoring the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform including infrastructure resources, performance, users, license management, security, and data quality.
• Review MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform release updates, planning and executing updates.
• Develop, design, and implement architect infrastructure/integration roadmaps.
• Configure APIs, API access management, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics based with MuleSoft API Manager.
• Provide applications and projects with technical support for the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise for research efforts for the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Work directly with IT and Business partners for data onboarding and requirements for integration efforts.
• Ability to investigate and assist with 3^rd party data sources to assess integration requirements and complete end to end testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Three (3) or more years in administration and engineering of the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Five (5) or more years total experience developing and supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or administrative role.

• Strong experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance.
• Experience with REST, SOAP web services, RAML, and OpenAPI in the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Experience working with MuleSoft Connectors (Standard/Custom) and Accelerators
• Ability to troubleshoot the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform (debuggers/flow analyzers) with deployment, and tuning experience.
• Experience in ETL flows in MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Experience implementing MQ flows in MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
• Experience designing and implementing a publish/subscribe architecture.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services
• Experience with data integration from various sources, including structured and unstructured data, batch, and real-time.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, agile, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL programming.
• Experience in the financial services or credit union industry
