We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires effective time management and the ability to build strong relationships with contractors, clients, and team members to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
This role will dedicate half of their work hours in the field for site and sub-contractors’ management and the other half in the office to assist the project manager
- Assist and coordinate subcontractors, building management, and necessary inspections with project manager and site foreman
- Report field activities and questions or issues from field team to project manager or design team
- Organize documents and communications to speed up the construction activities
- Lead and direct field crews through various tasks as required
- Assist to inspect work in progress ensuring compliance with submittals, and all construction documents
- Assist proactive resolution of field conditions and project issues
- Assist with the preparation of requests for information and clarification of construction documents
- Assist to manage third party and outside consultant inspections of the construction work and the project site
- Assist with scheduling permits and inspections throughout the buildout process
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Mandarin
- Have a construction background, with project management experience
- Strong skills in planning and executing projects that are both new and existing
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction & Project management
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related subject and 4-6 years field experience
- Thorough understanding of construction administration processes, including contracts, budgets, construction documents, change orders, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and material procurement
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification is a plus but not required
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
