Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide bedside care, administer medications, and monitor patient health under physician and RN supervision.
- Vital Sign Monitoring: Measure and document blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rates to ensure patients’ well-being.
- Patient Advocacy: Support patients by addressing their needs, concerns, and preferences with compassion and professionalism.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient information, care provided, and any changes in condition to maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, RNs, and other team members to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow hospital procedures and safety standards for patient care and medication administration.
Qualifications:
- LPN Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Michigan.
- BLS Certification: Required for all candidates.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
