Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Quality Nursing Care: Deliver safe, compassionate care to Med Surg patients, including administering medications and treatments.
- Monitor Patient Conditions: Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions, including vital signs and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with the Care Team: Work closely with RNs, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with Procedures: Prepare patients for procedures, assist during treatments, and provide post-procedure care.
- Patient Education: Teach patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient care, medications, and progress.
- Ensure a Safe Environment: Promote safety by adhering to best practices and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN License in New Hampshire (or compact license).
- Experience: 1 years in Med Surg or acute care preferred.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Empathy, clarity, and a touch of humor go a long way in patient care!
