Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for handling manual billing for the Call Center, submitting invoices for the Call Center, and backing up support for the Fixed Asset System for over 200 Behavioral Health facilities. Other duties include completing month-end close, budgeting responsibilities, Sales/Use tax filings as assigned, census reporting, and vendor setups as assigned. Successful candidates will be well organized, detail oriented, possess strong communication skills, produce accurate work product, and effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Duties:

Maintain billing files and complete monthly billing for the Call Center as neededSubmit invoices for assigned facilitiesEnter all addition, disposal and transfer forms monthly for over 200 facilities on the FAS systemUnderstand the UHS capitalization policies and proceduresReview the FAS submissions for accuracy and verify that they meet the capitalization policiesRun monthly depreciation reports timely each month and save in facility foldersMaintain and administer the FAS system including running monthly backups and reportsComplete conversions from the old fixed assets systems to the FAS system as requestedComplete month end closing and budget responsibilities for facilities as assignedAnswer questions and provide customer service to facility CFOs, Controllers and AccountantsPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual filings for sales/use tax either by paper filing or on-line, calculate the payment and create the check request for multiple facilitiesConsolidation and distribution of daily census reports for multiple facilitiesEntering of AP vendor set ups and changes as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge: Accounting and health care experience preferredSkills: Strong interpersonal skills required; self-starter, team player, strong communication skills, customer oriented, leadership skills
