River Crest Hospital is a modern, 80-bed psychiatric hospital, specializing in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders that can afflict individuals of all ages, from children and teens, to adults and the elderly. We provide acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment programs. We are located in San Angelo, Texas. POSITION SUMMARY

The Admissions/Intake RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for assessing the medical bond behavioral needs of the patient and assisting in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information.

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 with commitment.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor'sDegree preferred.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facilitypreferred.Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.Additional Requirements: A working knowledge of the DSM-IVR and the Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field. CPR certification and successful completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training. Training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
