LCCA currently has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Full Time Social Worker. Key Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community. 

• Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary. 

• Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate. 

• Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff. 

• The Social Worker is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization. 

• Participates in continuous performance improvement activities. 

• Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Qualifications

Regulatory Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work
• Currently licensed as a behavioral science professional.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in a supervised clinical behavioral health care setting preferred.
