Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full Time & Part Time 

(12 hour shifts available-nights, with rotating weekends and holidays)

$5,000 Sign on bonus for night shift

Job Summary

Our LPN's daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, monitoring basic patient health such as vital signs and overall condition, taking patient histories and maintaining documentation and providing personal care. They provide effective communication and ensure that the patient care is conducted according to our policies and standards of Laurelwood.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Experience: Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

Skills: Adaptability, communication, compassion, problem-solving and resilience

License/Certification: Current license to practice nursing in OHIO or eligible to receive or renew. Current CPR or BLS certification

Work Environment: Clean, well-lit work environment, our nurses can sit and/or stand for long periods of time, high stress active work environments at times, the active work environment can be slow, the environment can have continuous low and high voices and office machine noise

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential. This individual must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities. Professional demeanor and appearance is required.
