Responsibilities

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Partial Hospitalization Program

HRI Hospital is 62-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several adult Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). Services for PHP include short-term intensive group therapy, individual counseling, and medication management provided by the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. In addition to our general adult program, we offer specialized programs for the following communities: LGBTQIAA , BIPOC, emerging adults, and dual diagnosis.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a vital member of HRI Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization treatment team. This position is a full time, 40 hour per week, Monday – Friday position. Hours of work are 8:00am – 3:00pm with flexibility. There is also an opportunity to cover inpatient cases if interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced practice nursing support for patients in the psychiatric partial hospital programs
  • Participates in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring
  • Complete medication assessments and adjustments
  • Prescribe medication for patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist

  • Current MA Nurse Practitioner License & DEA license
  • One year of psychiatric NP experience preferred
