Responsibilities

Assists in the coordination of the continuum of care provided by the Bloomington Meadows Hospital Outpatient Services to all patients in need of mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Supervises employees of the Outpatient unit to ensure assigned duties are complete. Ensures timely completion and documentation of outpatient utilization review. Oversees the satellite and offsite clinical programs. Assists with clinical chart audits and staff education associated with quality improvements. Coordinates with the Director of Business Development & PHP to compile monthly staff meeting agendas and reports. Exempt level position.

Qualifications

Education:  Masters degree in mental health or related field.

Experience: One to two years of program management experience required, Four to five years’ experience working with adults and adolescents with substance abuse and mental health or co-occurring disorders, Outpatient experience preferred.

Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor eligible.

Additional Requirements: Demonstrated leadership ability, strong organizational skills, and skills in writing and in working with statistical data. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals, and the ability to delegate appropriately. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accrediting standards preferred. CPR certification and HANDLE WITH CARE training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
