Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Receptionist to work receive guests, answer calls to the main switchboard, and respond to routine questions in a professional and timely manner.
Receptionist Position Responsibilities include:
- Receive hospital visitors, ascertain needs and direct visitors appropriately; ensure that all visitors sign in.
- Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Utilize the paging system to make announcements as required.
- Promote a positive working environment and guest relations.
Receptionist Shift:
Saturday and/or Sunday 9:00 AM-9:00 PM

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience operating multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment, and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.
Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
