Since 2001, Spring Mountain has provided acute crisis stabilization and outpatient services to the Las Vegas community and beyond. We offer a caring and healthy environment, with 24-hour care that allows individuals to make positive changes in their lives. In addition to crisis stabilization for patients as young as age 5, we offer treatment and detox for co-occurring substance abuse issues in teens and adults. Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has two locations to serve the diverse community of Las Vegas, Nevada. With Spring Mountain Treatment Center and Spring Mountain Sahara, we have a wealth of resources to provide targeted care to children, adolescents and adults in the fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada Metropolitan area.

Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking Registered Nurses for Day shifts!

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the clinical staff member who has interaction with patients on a daily basis. They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information. The RN provides structure and safety to the milieu environment as directed by hospital and unit procedures and manages patient behavior effectively. The RN develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

Registered Nurses (RNs) demonstrate leadership in organizing the delivery of patient care in an acute psychiatric setting for patient’s experience a wide range of psychiatric conditions. RNs serve as nursing resources for staff; and interact and assist in teaching patients. Nurses actively and constructively serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current Nevada RN licensure
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One year of experience in a psychiatric setting/patient care preferred
