Responsibilities

$10,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE

This is a night position in the ED eligible for a sign-on bonus and is full-time at 36 hours per week with full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and additional shifts if desired. St. Mary’s units include ER, Birthplace, Float pool, Rehab, Med Surg, Same Day Surgery, ICU, PCCU, Behavioral Health, OR, and Cardiac Cath.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
  • ADN required; BSN preferred
  • BLS required.
  • ALS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale and NRP required within six (6) months of employment in Emergency Department.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and PEARS are encouraged within two (2) years of hire.
  • Two to three years’ experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, or Emergency Medical Services preferred.
  • Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM/De-Escalation) completed within six (6) months of hire.
  • Ability to tolerate high stress levels and maintain a positive behavior.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
