Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator

At Uncle Ray’s the Chips are flowing and we are growing! Our Montgomery City Warehouse team is a small family like environment and looking for our newest chipper to join the tribe. In the Warehouse Associate Role we are looking for the successful candidate to have excellent attention detail with good hand-eye coordination and the technical ability to move raw and finished goods optimizing operational efficiency.

Wanna take a ride to the Chip Side? Uncle Ray’s will ask the following:

• Excellent Attendance
• Complete daily Hi-Lo/Forklift inspection check list
• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor
• Accurately placing finished goods in proper assigned areas following First In and First Out protocols
• Daily pick and put-away of production material.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility as requested
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Inspect and log trailers for cleanliness and ensuring trailer qualifies for safe transportation of food products.
• Handle and operate technical equipment.
• Control inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Pick, wrap, stage, and load orders for shipment.
• Track and report products inventory levels/shortages to warehouse management team.
• Adhere to safety management standards.
• Ability to identify, report and assist in mitigation efforts of workplace safety hazards

Before Chippin for the Future, make sure you can say the YES to the following:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Mastery of Basic Mathematical Skills (Adding, Subtraction, Multiplying, & Division)
• < 1 year of Hi Lo Operating Experience
• < 1 year of Order Picking Experience
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, stand, kneel, etc.
• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Good written and verbal skills

Travel Requirements

· This job requires no travel

Organizational Relationships

· Reports directly to Uncle Ray’s Warehouse Supervisor

Working conditions

· Normal Warehouse environment

Physical requirements

· Required to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day (sometimes above head)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
