What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partner (Contract) position at Underdog Sports?
Please note: This is a 6 month contract position.
What You’ll Do:
- Source and engage with top-tier talent across technical and non-technical roles using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and other innovative sourcing methods.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, team dynamics, and long-term goals.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, qualifications, and alignment with company culture.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, sharing a compelling brand story to attract high-quality talent.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Greenhouse, ensuring a seamless and transparent hiring pipeline.
- Provide actionable insights by compiling and analyzing hiring metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing creative solutions.
- Participate in regular hiring team syncs to share pipeline updates, insights, and candidate progress.
Who You Are:
- 3 years of experience in sourcing or technical recruiting, with expertise in identifying and attracting Engineering, Product, or Design talent.
- Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications, both technically and culturally.
- Proven success in building trusted relationships with hiring teams, acting as a strategic partner in the recruitment process.
- Experience contributing to talent acquisition projects or initiatives that have driven impactful results.
- Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments effectively.
- A proactive and resourceful team player who thrives in solving complex hiring challenges.
