ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Develop and manage processes to assurance accuracy of inventory
- Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated and corrected in a timely manner
- Assure the highest level of product quality is maintained
- Oversee product slotting analysis, product slot assignment and slot movements. Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to re-align warehouse racking in support of proper product slotting
- Develop, evaluate and perform performance appraisals of department personnel
- Track inventory shrink and assist other departmental areas in reducing overall product loss
- Provides Management with updates and reports on inventory issues and updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S).
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or equivalent related experience
- Strong Microsoft Suite Skills
- Four (4) or more years of inventory, quality control, and/or food warehouse management experience
- Two (2) or more supervisory experience
- Excellent leadership skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Solid computer skills
- Solid understanding of Receiving and Shipping functions
- Good organization and Time Management skills
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
