What You’ll Do:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
- Preparing surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Applying powder coating materials using spray guns or other application methods.
- Ensuring even coverage and smooth finish of the coating.
- Operating curing ovens to set and cure the coating.
- Inspecting finished products for quality and making any necessary touch-ups or repairs.
- Maintaining equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Following safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions with correct forms.
- Willing to perform other manufacturing tasks as directed and when needed.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Who You Are:
- Previous experience in powder coating application or a related field.
- Knowledge of powder coating materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear protective gear as required.
