Position Summary: The Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist is responsible for managing daily ITAM operations, including hardware procurement, pricing, research, inventory, and tracking. This role also involves assisting with software procurement, reporting, documentation, invoicing, billing, and department onsite verification.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with hardware and software procurement, pricing. research, asset inventory, shipping, tracking, and daily inventory input.
- Support with the maintenance, monitoring and documentation of software license compliance.
- Complete user form verification, including processing and reviewing for software compliance.
- Coordinate IT hardware budgeting for all departments and collaborate with Controllers for annual budget purposes.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of various General Ledger accounts.
- Continuously improve processes and independently identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Assist in training Help Desk Specialists and Technicians on user form and asset management processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the safe and secure disposal of assets in compliance with regulatory statutes.
- Serves as an active backup for software licensing compliance and contract documentation.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications:
- One to three years of experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in IT asset management, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of IT procurement, invoicing, and vendor relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial system software
