This position is located at the corporate office in North Little Rock, AR

Work schedule: 4/10s, Mon. – Thur., 7am – 5:30pm onsite.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED

Oversee the operations of the accounting department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, General Ledger, month-end closing and payroll.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter, self-managed, and capable of handling multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment and has a strong acumen of accounting practices, financial controls, ERP systems and reporting.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains a documented system of accounting policiesand procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
• Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
• Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
• Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
• Files quarterly and annual reports.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
• Contribute to the development of the annual budget and perform quarterly re-forecasts.
• Be proficient in identifying problems and presenting scalable solutions to resolve them.
• The ability to integrate acquisitions.
• Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administrationrequired.
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
• Detail-oriented with excellent planning, analysis, and execution abilities
• Willingness to learn and to be flexible with changing priorities and varying management needs.
• Experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work to deadlines with minimal direct supervision. Must be a proactive and an independent worker.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, reasoning, and ability to deal with complexity.
• Experience in private equity a strong plus.
• Travel less than 10% may be required.
