Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated 3PL Kitting and Assembly professional to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-pressure 3PL environment. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the kitting and assembly process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while working through both slow and extremely busy periods. This role demands strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of inventory control, and strict adherence to complex instructions. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage kitting and assembly operations to meet exact specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain an efficient workflow during both busy and slow periods, planning and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking and packing, while ensuring accuracy.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage warehouse stock levels.
- Support shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to uphold company standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Consistently follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Recent hands-on experience in 3PL and distribution, especially in kitting and assembly.
- Proficient in inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Familiar with RF scanners and WMS; mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment.
- Fluent in Spanish and comfortable working long hours as needed.
- Strong leadership skills with the discipline to arrive on time and prepared daily.
- Able to lift packages up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
