We are currently looking for an exceptional full-time Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant provides support in all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to; recruitment, staffing, on-boarding, employee services, benefit and leave administration, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, training and development, employee relations, administration and implementation of company policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance. This position closely interacts with employees at all levels. The Human Resources Assistant must be sensitive to the departmental goals and priorities, company needs as well as the employees' needs and concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • The right candidate will be comfortable in an "all hands-on deck" team environment, is a creative and analytical problem solver, and can thrive in a fast-paced, hypergrowth culture.
  • Provide expertise regarding company policies, benefits, and employee handbook.
  • Answer and address employee HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Research and resolve employee relations inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Leveraging strong skills in employee relations, HR service and administration, and critical thinking skills, the Generalist is a key partner to corresponding, assigned regional divisions and supports approximately 100 employees in a 24/7 high volume coworking real estate environment.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to managers and employees, including responding to all inquiries quickly, completely, and professionally
  • Ensures timely and appropriate documentation of all personnel-related matters
  • Coachs managers regarding policy interpretation, best practices, employee behavior, performance management and development
  • Assists managers with risk assessment and issue diagnosis and resolution
  • Maintains fluency in and ensures consistent application of company policies/procedures
  • Builds a positive work environment and supports the Companys HR strategy
  • Takes accountability for identification, prioritizing, and resolving/escalating issues within established timelines
  • When necessary, conducts investigations in partnership with HR leaders and/or other appropriate internal partners
  • Provides a proactive approach to HR partnership
  • Helps ensure compliance with all federal and state labor law requirements through support of corporate HR compliance efforts, as needed
  • Leads efforts for smooth off and on-boarding process for employees and staffing associates.
  • Supports benefits processes as appropriate and other benefits related items.
  • Plays a critical role in engagement and retention by understanding working conditions and concerns of employee and staffing population.
  • Identifies trends in employee issues and participates in troubleshooting and ongoing evaluation of best practices and process improvement
  • Recruiting qualified candidtes to identify top talent and meet corporate standards and staffing needs.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed


  • Minimum of 3 years of recent Human Resources experience required
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the HR field, including an understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Exposure to payroll practices and benefits administration
  • Results-oriented with a track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, optimism, and integrity
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work and problem solve with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfort handling multiple priorities and pivoting as needs change
  • Organized and detail oriented - this role is all about the details - you need to juggle many different tasks, ensuring they all get done in an accurate and timely manner
  • Results-driven and metrics-oriented
  • Paycom knowledge a plus
  • Bilingual, spanish a plus
