Job Title: Ops WMS Implementation Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive WMS Implementation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of operational processes and systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and execute plans to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on the progress of implementation projects.
- Lead WMS implementation projects from inception to completion
- Analyze existing warehouse processes and design optimized workflows
- Configure and customize WMS solutions to meet client needs
- Provide on-site support during system go-lives and post-implementation phases
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real-time warehouse environments
- Develop and deliver training programs for warehouse staff on WMS usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations
- Create and maintain project documentation, including process maps and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and WMS implementations
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping
- Strong proficiency with WMS software and related technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to travel for on-site implementations and support (up to 50%)
