About the Role:
The Inside Treasury Solutions Officer at United Community Bank is a key player in driving the sale of Treasury Management products. Collaborating with Regional Treasury Solutions Officers, you'll engage clients primarily via phone to finalize sales and enhance their banking experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales Excellence: Drive the sale of treasury management services to clients and prospects through an inside sales approach across the UCB footprint.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Partner with Regional Treasury Solutions Officers to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities for existing customers.
- Business Development: Join business development calls with Regional Treasury Solutions Officers for corporate clients, including counties and municipalities.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer relationships to recommend comprehensive banking solutions that meet their needs.
- Account Management: Set up and implement processes for new accounts, ensuring seamless integration of the entire product line.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in community organizations and bank activities to build business relationships and promote the bank’s services and products.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in a client-facing financial services role.
- Proven sales or branch customer-facing sales experience.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of bank systems, processes, and operations.
- Proficiency in personal computer operations and software applications.
- Strong understanding of business banking, including deposit and sweep accounts, account analysis, and loans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor to represent the bank.
- Effective writing skills for creating proposals and correspondence.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of customers and bank employees.
- Organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to deliver compelling sales presentations and close deals.
- Commitment to participating in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of bank systems, processes, and operations.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position does not manage employees.
Working Environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- This position requires up to 25% travel.
