Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Data Processing Technician to ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions in our closed-door pharmacy setting. In this key role, you will help support the flow of medications and provide seamless service to our healthcare partners and patients. Ideal candidates will have experience with data entry, automation systems, and a commitment to accuracy and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Verification: Accurately input and verify prescription data in our pharmacy systems, ensuring all information is complete and precise.
- Collaborative Dispensing Support: Work closely with pharmacists to support the timely and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety and care efficiency.
- Utilize Automation Systems: Operate and assist with automated systems, helping to streamline prescription processing and increase accuracy.
- Customer & Provider Support: Professionally address inquiries related to prescription status, ensuring both patients and healthcare providers receive the information they need.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient privacy and adhering to safety protocols.
- Administrative Support: Assist with additional administrative tasks to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in pharmacy data entry or a related field. Experience with automation systems is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in pharmacy management software, Microsoft Office, and general computer tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
