Position : Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the development of a durable capital electro-surgical hospital device.
The role involves working with both in-house manufactured components and vendor-supplied parts, ensuring seamless integration into a rectangular tray assembly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks 2023, GD&T, and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles, with a focus on plastic molded parts and assembly fit & finish.
Key Responsibilities :
Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise tolerancing, manufacturability, and assembly integrity.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage part fabrication and integration.
Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) evaluations to streamline production.
Support design documentation, BOM updates, and engineering change processes as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4-6 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in medical devices or capital equipment.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and industry standards for manufacturing and quality control.
Hands-on experience with plastic molded part design and supplier collaboration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
