Summary/Objective:
Information and Operational Technologies have converged and in this newly created role for the OnPoint Automation group we are seeking a skilled OT/IT Engineer. In this role, you will lead the efforts to develop, build, and maintain our customer’s Operational Technology systems. You will focus on ensuring that their Operational Technology (OT) systems are secure, patched and managed. You will be a senior member of a talented team of systems engineers and administrators that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
Qualified systems engineers will have a deep IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis background. Your goal will be to ensure that the technology infrastructure of our customer’s runs smoothly and efficiently and exceed customer expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and Implement projects that support the overall IT/OT vision
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision and driving multi-year technology and modernization efforts with our customers.
- Define, implement, and document operational processes and procedures, with periodic reviews for efficiency and improvement
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively manage and monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixed
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Design of information and operational support systems
- Provide technical support for OT/IT Integrated equipment and services
- Document and update project plans from inception to completion
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Assist in OnPoint Automation project deployment and services
- Assist in developing new IT/OT technicians within the group

Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
- Operational Technology (ICS IT/OT) Engineer with 2-5 years of maintenance and support (Preferred)
- Minimum of 7-15 years of related work experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Strong Project Management and Organization skills
- Configuration and maintenance of IT, EPMS, and building control software technologies
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows environments
- Experience in automating technical and business workflows
- Experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premises and cloud).
- Advanced networking knowledge (Cisco/Meraki)
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Experience with Vulnerability Management Programs
- Experience in Virtual Environments (VMWare, Hyper V)
