A reputable construction materials company is seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager.
Location: Mountain West or Pacific Northwest - depending on candidate's preference

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Logistics Director, the Supply Chain Manager leads operations in the successful implementation of SAP and manages rail fleet operations. Responsibilities include managing IntelliTrans systems, maintaining rail rates in the ERP system, ensuring fleet compliance, maintaining detailed rail car records, facilitating compliance inspections, troubleshooting issues, and improving rail asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rail Fleet Management: Oversee fleet compliance (owned and leased), maintain rail car records, and ensure regulatory inspections/certifications.
- IntelliTrans System: Manage and train on IntelliTrans system.
- ERP Management: Maintain rail rates in ERP and troubleshoot freight payables.
- Problem Resolution: Monitor EDI activity, identify and resolve issues.
- Operations & Policy: Improve asset utilization, ensure policy adherence, and implement feasible rail solutions.
- Procurement: Lead SAP implementation, oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier development.
