Job Details

  • A hospital in WV is looking for experienced RN's for Float positions to cover Ortho units.
  • The ideal travelers have MS / Tele experience as well as low level Ortho experience.
  • EPIC is required as well as WV or compact license.

Job Requirements

  • BLS certification required.
  • WV or compact nursing license required.

    • Schedule Information

  • 12 hour shifts 7a - 7p; 7p - 7a
  • Every-other-weekend requirement for both Days / Nights.
  • Work in the holiday rotation schedule with permanent staff.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Medsurg 5S unit specifics include mainly 1 : 5-6 patient ratios for both days & nights.
  • Floor specific orientation of 1-2 shifts with a preceptor.

    • Additional Details

  • 50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE.
  • Charge Nurse available on every unit; Day charge does not take patients, Night charge does take patients.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients include CHF, Cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho.
