Job Description:
This is a position to support our Loan Servicing Platform (Shaw Vendor). Must demonstrate ability to technically accomplish complex design, Develop, automated testing and deployment within the traditional IBM Mainframe environment.
Experience should include modern IBM z development platform including: IDz, zDIH, ADDI, DBB and z/OS Connect.
Strong preference to also include working knowledge of Gitlab, Sonar and automated testing.
Should have demonstrated experience in Agile environments and have proficient writing skills.
Tech Stack Must have - Mainframe Technologies -Cobol, CICS, Panvalet, Panapt, VSAM, Xpeditor.
Required Modern Tech Stack – Gitlab, Devops, IDz, zDIH, ADDI, DBB and z/OS Connect for API development and maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and CICS, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to design and implement APIs and software deployment processes.
- Utilize DevOps practices and tools like GitLab for continuous integration and test automation.
- Engage in systems engineering and design, focusing on service-oriented architecture and IT infrastructure improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mainframe systems and applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
