Mechanic

United Land Services (ULS) is a leading full-service landscaping company offering a comprehensive suite of commercial landscape installation and maintenance services. We are currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team. This role is integral to keeping our automotive and equipment fleet in top condition through independent diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional experience
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with two-cycle engines, gas engines, and some diesel engine experience being helpful.
• Familiarity with equipment brands such as John Deere, Stihl, Ditchwitch, Bobcat, and Toro is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work hard.
• An equivalent combination of related experience and training may substitute for a diploma requirement at management’s discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire changes, and other vehicle services on small engines and trucks, particularly those equipped with two-cycle engines.
• Evaluate the condition of landscape equipment, fleet vehicles, and make repair recommendations.
• Complete service work orders through Aspire.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in good working order.
