Open Role: Quality Control Associate
Experience Level: Entry-Level
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent
Wage Type: Hourly
Pay Band: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Location: On-site in Worcester, MA
Schedule: Day shift
Primary Duties:
- Read and interpret customer blueprints
- Visual inspection of finished product, especially micrometer-read tolerance checks
- Log and report all conformance and variance
- Inspection of raw materials
- Inspection of WIP inventory
- Future duties may include other non-destructive inspection including die test, eddy current, etc.
- Comply with all safety directives and requirements
Successful candidate profile:
- Helpful and ready to learn
- Follows directions well and demonstrates good attention to detail
- Relevant manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Relevant academic coursework for the manual or advanced manufacturing trades
- Comfortable in the semi-manual production equipment
- Familiarity with digital production tools (e.g. ERP planning and logging) is a plus
Qualifications required:
- Able to handle prolonged standing, kneeling, bending
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Excellent communication in written and verbal English
- High School Diploma required
