REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of leasing experience or administrative work preferred.
- Prior experience with Yardi management systems a plus.
- Knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) and Fair Housing Laws.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable.
- Can establish relationships quickly and easily with a diverse group of people.
- Has a high energy level and great customer service skills.
- Goal oriented and results focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leasing Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Record and maintain all resident information in Yardi.
- Collect monies for application fees, security deposits, rent, etc., as per policy and guidelines.
- Update available marketing tools as needed.
- Schedule appointments with prospective applicants.
- Answer phone calls using the phone script guidelines.
- Notify applicant(s) of approval and schedule the lease package signing.
