What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment property manager position at United Property Management?
We have an opening for a seasoned, property manager to manage an 85 unit multi-family tax credit property in Charlotte, NC. We welcome applications from experienced property managers who are willing to work hard and commit to ensuring that our properties maintain high occupancy, remain financially healthy, and that they stay in compliance with all state and federal requirements. This position is full time.
The company prefers applicants with a minimum of three years experience in apartment property management, with specific experience in tax credit property management. Documented training on the management and administration of tax credit properties is also a plus. Strong communication, positive attitude, attention to detail, and computer skills are required. Managers will be required to visit apartments for inspections, and work as a team with a maintenance tech. The best candidates will have an ability to balance multiple tasks, deal with a variety of personalities, and demonstrate excellent judgment. Experience with OneSite software preferred.
Company policy requires criminal background checks and drug testing of all employees. A valid drivers' license and access to transportation is required. The company offers health insurance, 401(k) options, and paid annual leave.
Job duties include rent collection, posting of notices, taking applications, completing recertification paperwork, apartment inspections.
