Description
United Security Bank has an immediate opening for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week "Branch Utility," also known as a Customer Service Manager Assistant, for our Caruthers branch.
Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as a lead working as a customer service representative and assists the customer service manager in operations activities.
1. Back up Customer Service Manager with all operational duties including supervision of staff.
2. Assists the Customer Service Manager in the management of the operations function. Assists with staff meetings.
3. Assist CSRs when necessary and informally measure the quality of performance.
4. Assist the Customer Service Manager in the establishment of training and cross-training plans for new and current operations employees.
5. Certify general ledger accounts as required.
6. Perform all other certifications/verifications as may be assigned or required.
7. Perform in a fill-in or relief role in all jobs within operations such as a Teller, New Accounts Representative, Vault Teller, and other CSR roles including filling in for the Customer Service Manager in their absence.
8. Responsible for following Bank policy and procedure, and regulations applicable to each of regular or assigned roles.
9. Process outgoing wires / CIC codes.
10. Balance ATM weekly.
11. Prepare monthly Teller accuracy reports.
12. CDARS, CDARS & Co. CDs, safekeeping of CDs.
13. Conduct call-backs on all New Accounts activity entered the previous day for accuracy.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
Three to five years of teller experience or other operations experience with at least one year as a lead teller.
1. Ability to direct / guide, and train operations staff.
2. Must possess excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal, customer service skills. Must have the ability to work with all staff, senior officers, and bank customers.
3. Ability to cope with the pressure of daily deadlines and to encourage staff to cooperatively work together towards group goals.
4. Must be detail-oriented ability to work with numbers and perform arithmetic calculations.
5. Must be proficient with a 10-key as well as Microsoft Word, specific software about job assignments and assignments of staff.
6. High School Diploma or GED

Salary : $24 - $33
