Job Title: Chemist/Mixer (Contractor)
Location: Algonac, MI
Compensation: Dependent on level of experience (from Entry Level to Significant Experience)
Schedule: Part Time Contractor (normal business hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Chemist/Mixer to join our team on a part-time contract basis. In this role, you will work with raw materials to prepare and manage batches, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards. You will also have the opportunity to develop new formulas, with incentives for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Handling: Manage, measure, and handle raw materials with precision and care.
- Batch Preparation: Prepare and mix batches according to existing formulas, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Formula Development: Collaborate on the creation of new formulas, with performance incentives tied to innovation.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure all products meet regulatory and company standards.
- Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience or educational background in chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical, vitamin, or supplement formulation and production processes.
- Proven ability to handle raw materials and prepare batches accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience in developing new formulas is desirable.
