This is a KEY position. Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of military/contingency operations. Incumbents must be removed from their active military recall status as the alternatives for filling the position during an emergency are not readily available, due to the time, training, certification and proficiency requirements necessary for the position.
Incumbent must be able to pass a normal adult stereo-acuity test (Stereoscopic Vision), necessary to view and exploit stereo imagery for target coordinate mensuration and production of navigational products.
Incumbent of the position must complete the Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) and Weaponeering training, certification, boards, re-qualifications, etc., to be full performance as the GS-13 level.
If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.

- Experience applying a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices pertaining to Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) system targeting, weaponeering, geopositioning, distribution and execution processes and procedures and of weapon systems complimentary to TLAM and HSW sufficient to effectively develop hypotheses, theories, collaborate, integrate, adapt, influence, and significantly impact the operational plans and strategic policy decisions supporting POTUS, SECDEF, Joint Task Force or other stakeholders.
- Experience utilizing kinetic damage mechanisms of the TLAM and HSW warheads sufficient to apply and evaluate and address established, as well as theoretical, risk to current and projected operational areas of interest.
- Experience devising solutions sufficient to monitor, track, report, and minimize risk or defeat. Intensive knowledge of current and future designs of Tomahawk Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Architecture related to navigation and geospatial data processes associated with TLAM and HSW planning necessary to analyze and integrate current and evolving GEOINT and Multi-Int technologies and solutions into the mission planning process as well as the weapon systems configuration management roadmap.
