Part-time: 30 hours
Position Summary:
Responsible for administrative support to the Major Gifts Team and Major Gifts Volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Administrative support includes written and verbal communication with volunteers and donors, filing, data entry and management, preparation of mailings and training materials, record keeping, purchase orders, customer service, donor mailings and correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills:
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong administrative and clerical skills
Good phone communication skills
Ability to perform effectively in a team environment
Genuine interest in the United Way mission
Organizational proficiency
Attention to detail and time management
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or some college preferred
Experience:
Administrative experience required; two years preferred.
Some experience working with high-end donors and volunteers preferred.
Required:
Reliable transportation, proof of automobile insurance and valid driver’s license
Working Condition:
Normal office environment, some travel and occasional overtime.
