This position will maintain, establish and scale solutions in UWSM direct service programming related to Education, Financial Empowerment, Health Equity and Basic Needs systems that support this work through Housing and 211. Responsible for directing all staff and operations of the development, planning, funding/resource investment, community partnership and programs of the Community Impact Team. Directs/manages related volunteer committee efforts and develops/ maintains effective working relationships with community partners. Serves as subject matter expert in administration of/consultation on the agenda for Community Impact (CI).

Core Responsibilities
- Strategically works with the leadership team on the overall execution and direction for our community impact model and agenda. This primarily focuses on our UWSM direct service programs along with managing key community collaborations. Ensures that related programs and activities are incorporated with the total efforts of the organization as expressed in our vision, mission, and annual priority outcomes. Oversees process for funding and data collection for core community partners.
- Works in and with the community as a visible and engaged leader and representative of United Way in the communities we serve. Serves as an active and engaged leader in key convenings and meetings within our scope of work.
- Leads and manages all staff assigned to these areas of responsibility. Prepares and implements measurable annual work plans to achieve the objectives. Identifies, advises and counsels staff regarding developmental needs in line with corporate goals and policies.
- Leads effort to continuously align and improve data collection and reporting specifically as it relates to the Bold Goals. This includes engaging with data experts, other community data partners and UWSM staff to produce meaningful reporting and execute data driven solutions.
- Leads and oversees the engagement and collaboration with our volunteer community Impact & DEI Committee. Setting meaningful and strategic engagement of the committee members within the process of our CI agenda.
- Understands and is a subject matter expert in collective impact models and will bring continued innovation and depth to Bold Goal work and success to the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Degrees in Business, Communications, Organizational Management or Education preferred.
- 10 years of community-focused work in a leadership role, with experience in multi-sector collaboration and engagement with client-facing programs preferred.
- Ability to manage large teams in multiple locations.
- Competent in MS Office products.
- Interest in the improvement of the Summit & Medina community.
- Working knowledge of how to leverage data and data systems to market programming and improve services.
- Knowledge/experience with public school systems, social service networks and local government departments.

- Must be willing to work non-standard work schedule including nights, weekends, and other unusual hours on occasion.
- After-hours event attendance frequently.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background check, drug and alcohol screen.
- Valid driver license and proof of insurance. Access to reliable insured automobile to be used for work-related travel in Summit & Medina County area.
