Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday to Friday, 3 Days/12 Hours per Week)
Hours per Week: 36 Hours
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN for our Labor and Delivery department to provide exceptional patient care and ensure smooth coordination across all healthcare disciplines. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans for labor and delivery patients.
- Assess, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Coordinate all disciplines to ensure efficient and well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assist with patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients' progress and provide necessary interventions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Strong clinical skills in Labor and Delivery care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Effective communication and patient care coordination skills.
- Certifications Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License (current and active in the state of practice).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
