Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being of all patients under their supervision.

Duties

• Adhere to medical standards and protocols while delivering compassionate patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth for accurate documentation
• Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe healthcare environment
• Assist in various medical procedures including those related to trauma medicine
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Experience with MDS assessments is a plus
• Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings such as urgent care, nursing homes, and home care

Requirements

• Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
• Familiarity with trauma medicine practices
• Knowledge of MDS assessments and urgent care protocols
• Understanding of nursing home operations and patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,200.00 per week
